Over the years, the trends in fashion have always evolved and today, people believe it is at its best. Whether one belongs to the old or new generation, everyone has always desired to look and feel good among a crowd. Women aren’t the exception. In fact, women have never been more conscious about how they look that’s why they only want the best that they can get in the fashion industry. Among the many demands in fashion is jewelry. In fact, it is one of the items that is in very high deman in the market not only today but for a very long period of time.

Women are fonder of jewelry compared to men, but the only problem is that not all women can afford those authentic but expensive metals and stones. Women these days, however, need not worry because they can find a lot of good quality designer imitation jewelry in the market. Buyers are assured that the materials used in making these products are of good quality and are durable. There are plenty of imitation jewelry available in the market today that matches the personality, style and outfit of the buyer. Aside from that, buyers can definitely get their moneys worth because designers these days put a lot of effort and dedication in making beautiful items.

Though there are many brands that have good names and reputations in the business, a buyer should still choose the best choices that she can have. To do this, looking through sites online for pieces of advice on how to look good on pieces of imitation jewelry is ideal.

One of the pieces of jewelry that can give you a satisfying style as well as quality is the celebrity jewelry which many women have shown interest in. This type of jewelry is an attention-grabbing jewelry which will make the one wearing it stand out from a crowd. Many women have already tried wearing one of these and they usually get look very nice.

Prices of imitation jewelry are within affordable levels for almost all women and now is the time to buy these products in the market.

Jewelry can be some of the best gifts you can give to your loved ones, especially the women in your life, be it your mother, wife, daughter or sister. It is not important what occasion there is. Just keep in mind to give what you think will suit the individual’s personality. Some women prefer white gold over yellow gold. A few, however, prefer jewelries with gems while others like it simple. When giving jewelry, it is essential to think what your receiver wants rather than focus on what you want for the person.

Picking jewelries for loved ones isn’t an easy job, particularly in the part of men. Few men only can establish the right jewelry with right designs and stone in it. For a man, buying jewelries can be confusing rather than enjoying. It is awfully intimidating on their part when purchasing jewelries for the special woman in their lives. Sometimes they would prefer not to give jewelry; instead, they just give out flowers and chocolates to be safe. But giving gifts to someone who’s really special to you gives you the reason of putting extra effort like buying some very special jewelry. Homework is required in doing this job for men. Few areas to be studied like knowing how to choose precious and semi precious stones, kinds of metals and their values, the four C’s of diamonds, the pattern and pricing, popular trends, and the local retailer where to buy selected jewelry.

If you want to give your loved one a gift, try giving him or her a designer inspired jewelry. But if you can’t afford it, you can find a designer imitation jewelry that will suit your budget. Whatever type of jewelry you want to buy for your loved one, there is surely something that will both please you as the giver and that person as the receiver.

Diamond Clarity Defined

Diamond clarity is a term used to identify the absence or presence of flaws inside a diamond and gemstone or on the surface of the stone. A perfect stone with perfect clarity or clearness is rare and without exploring the gems through a jeweler’s magnifying loupe most flaws that exist in jewelry grade diamonds cannot be seen.If you have ever considered buying diamonds online to save some hard earned cash then I recommend that you go and visit our review of James Allen.com

Diamond Clarity Terms to Remember

Inclusions in Diamond Clarity

* Imperfections or flaws are found inside the stone.

* Tiny spots of white, black, or other colors.

* Breaks. There might be no problem for some. But others can cause a split to the stone.

* Clear and colorful crystals.

Diamond Clarity Blemishes

* Flaws found on the external surface of the stone.

* I highly recommend you visit Diamond Ring Shapes To read all about the different types of diamonds available on the market.

Ten times magnification is used by the Gemological Institute of America (GIA) in grading diamond clarity. Diamonds are tagged as:

Fl, Flawless

* Zero flaws, both inside and outside.

IF, Internally Flawless

* No flaws found internally. Light blemishes are found on the external surface of the stone.

VVS1 & VVS2, Very, very slightly included.

* Tiny inclusions. Difficult to detect, even for an experienced grader.

VS1 & VS2, Very slightly included

* Minute inclusions; not easily seen by an experienced grader.

SI1 & SI2, Slightly included

* For an experienced grader, inclusions are noticeable.

I1 & I2 & I3, Included

* The stone’s transparency and brilliance are affected by obvious inclusions.

As explained here in detail, we can read that even to an experienced jeweler, flaws usually cannot be seen without magnification. The tiny imperfections do not really affect a diamond’s brilliance that much. Imperfections begin to detract from the beauty of the diamond when you reach the level of “I” categories.

If the clarity of the diamond you choose is not near the top of the scale, don’t be concerned.

Consider the Location of Diamond Flaws

The location of a diamond’s flaws has to be considered in relation to the stone’s cut; when positioned in specific areas, some flaws are more noticeable. You can ask advice from your jeweler about poor positions of flaws.

It is good to know the imperfections within our diamonds as mentioned by the author of the book “Diamonds, The Antoinette Matlins Buying Guide”, pointing out that no two diamonds are alike, therefore the flaws provide an important road map to help us identify our own diamond.

Diamond Clarity Enhancements

Although treatments can enhance diamond clarity, not all enhancement techniques are permanent. These are the two most popular treatments:

Laser Treated Diamonds

* Some types of inclusions are removed with the use of a laser. The laser leaves a trail which is usually seen by an experienced jeweler.

*  Clarity enhancements through laser treatments are permanent.

Diamond Fracture Filling

* If the diamond has tiny cracks, they are filled with a colorless substance.

* Clarity enhancement through fracture filling is not permanent.

After the treatment, the diamond will appear to be of higher clarity than it truly is. A trusted jeweler would be able to evaluate and find out if there is any treatment performed on the stone; treated diamonds normally cost less.

Of the elements considered when buying a diamond, clarity is just one of them. Take also in consideration the diamond’s color, cut, carat weight and other factors. The search for the best diamond that suits your needs is like a jigsaw puzzle. You’ll stop only once you have put the pieces together; just like finding the perfect diamond. I really love the solitaire princess cut diamond rings (white gold and possibly one ct.) but when I get married I need a band to go along with it….

would a band with diamonds all around it look alright? Or would it be better to go with a plain white gold band?

thanks :)

My fiance’s engagement ring a 2 carat princess cut set in a simple 4 prong ring. When you look at the 4 sides of the diamond in the ring – 2 sides are different then the other two. Is this normal?
the diamond is a perfect square top and that is why it was so expensive. But the actual sides when looking at the diamond are not cut with the same design. two sides are flat and the other two are cut into a "V"

A Tiffany associate told me that the Lucida diamond is rare and has not been simulated by others, however recently a jeweler told me that the Lucida cut diamond is nothing more than a radiant princess cut diamond with the corners tapered? Are there any professionals out there that can help me with this question?
